Drumroll Please....

Without further ado....we found out what we are having!  But I am going to make
you read through a bunch of stuff before I tell you :)  I love dragging it out...

I had my 21+ week check up on Wednesday...everything looked good!
I told my doctor about my recurring "gallbladder" issue...its in "" because
the doctors can't for sure say that's what it is, because there is no evidence
when they run tests...the only thing I know is that it hurts like heck!

He basically said there is nothing that can be done right now, so unless
something really doesn't seem right keep doing what I am doing.
i.e.  toughing it out.  blah, not so much a fan.

At the end of the appointment he said someone would call to set up our
ultrasound...which meant someone would call in a few days and I probably
wouldn't get in till next week....well I took it upon myself to call them
Thursday around 1 since I hadn't heard anything yet...I may have said somewhere in
the conversation that I was out of town next week...err ya :)

So I was able to get in on Friday...I only did it because the Mr. had a short day Friday.
It worked out with his schedule...and the anticipation c'mon I can wait that long!

It was a family affair going to the ultrasound.  Olive was super cute in the waiting room
reading "the book,"  or O magazine and Fit Pregnancy.  Kept her busy :)
Once in the room she was pointing at the screen saying "baby eyes" evidentally she
saw eyes.  Which you can in a few of the pictures we got...I kind of think its creepy.

Olive I think kind of gets it...she has been pointing at my stomach saying
baby.  So not sure how much of that she actually comprehends.  I keep telling her
that soon she will have a baby sister and she will be able to give her hugs and kisses.
But she also needs to be gentle and share her toys.  It will be a learning process for
everyone I imagine.

Tehee....did you catch it.  I was trying to sneak it in there.  We are having another girl!
Very economical, we really don't need to buy anything!  I know I will be getting some new outfits
cause she can't just have hand me downs...but when she is little that doesn't really matter does it?
I will probably get her some new special outfits, going home, holidays...etc.  But other than
that we are set!

The babe had her arms in from of her face and legs crossed almost the entire
ultrasound...so it was hard to get clear images.  But I for sure saw the lady parts.
I am pretty excited!

Well, this has gotten kind of long and I should go to bed.  I do however need to check Olive's
foot before I go to sleep.  She got a sliver on the bottom of her foot and its not the easiest to get out.
Or let me say I can't get it out especially when she is awake...but I also don't want to traumatize her by waking her up but poking her foot with tweezers!  Is it bad to leave it in there?  It doesn't seem to bother her...my mom noticed it, and Olive hadn't even seemed bothered.  But I also don't want it to get infected...will it work its way out by itself?  I am thinking my game plan is to watch it and as long as it doesn't seem to be bothering her (its not huge by any means its pretty small actually but still there) or get red or irritated looking I might leave it.  Cause we know that a trip to the doctor would probably be worse than me getting it out myself!

Happy weekend  to everyone and a special HAPPY MOTHER'S DAYS to all the mothers!
