I am just now getting back into the loop from being "on vacation!" I have to say that the drive to Florida was not as bad as I thought it would be...well let me rephrase...up until the day before we left I thought it was going to be a piece of cake, then the day before/day of I started to question myself, "is this really a good idea?" Well 6 o'clock Friday evening we started the 22 hour journey to Florida. It started off a little rough, we had to make a few unexpected stops so we didn't get out of the state until about 9 but hey we were on our way!
We drove and drove and drove or I should say Richard drove and drove and drove. I was suppose to be sleeping but for some reason I was not able to sleep for the life of me! Olivia quickly fell asleep and slept from about 9pm to 5am not bad for being in her carseat. We made a stop at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast, that was tasty!
I think Olivia was stuffed full of biscuit! After that we kept driving and driving made a few more stops and at about 8pm we made it to my friend Kelly's whose home we were staying at for the time we were spending in Milton Florida (looking at all my pictures I didn't get any pictures of her place or any of us together :( Early the next morning Kacey and her man Mike made it there as well. So as they were catching up on sleep we drove to Pensacola Beach, were it was really really windy! You can't tell from the pictures because I didn't want to get out and get sand in my camera. But when we parked the car and Richard and David got out Kelly and I could hear the sand pelting on the side of the car!
Later that day we went for a walk down a path that had a name but I forgot :) Olivia was pushing her stroller.
So after we had a nice nights sleep we were ready for some more driving!!
Olivia didn't mind she got to watch Handy Manny and Little Einsteins in the back :) But it was worth it because we were going to Disney!!!
Of course right when we got there Olivia was sleeping!
We had a great time in Disney though, thanks to Kelly and David for setting up the Disney trip!! it was a fun time. Everyone else stayed for one night while the Kramer's stayed for two nights. We needed an extra day so we could take Olivia to Magic Kingdom! So in all we went to Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studio and Magic Kingdom. I think Olivia loved it there was soo much for her to take in! Here are a few shots of what we did at Disney.
We had a great time...we are thinking of planning out next trip there in about hmm 7 or 8 years :) And we are definitely going to go in November. Richard and I went there that time for our honeymoon and it was perfect the weather and there was hardly anyone there!! After our drive back to Kelly's from Disney we had a day of relaxing and the next day we had some beach time. I got a little burnt but not too bad. Here are a few shots of the beach.
After the beach it was time to make that long drive home. So sad. But we had a great time with our friends and if not for them we could not have had such a great vacation! You are the best! Where ever David gets stationed we will follow you :)

I thought I already commented on this post but I didn't! I'm sorry. These pictures are so cute! It sounds like you guys had a great time. :)
