Weekend Project!

Florida in 5 days and counting!  This coming Friday me, Richard and Olivia are going to drive to Florida, yes we are driving with a 1 year old.  Should be interesting, but Olivia can be entertained by Mickey, Handy Manny or Tinkerbell for a while in the car, so we will see how far she lets us drive before things get rough!  We don't have much of a time line though so we can make as many stops as we want. 

I have already started packing and was getting some toys together for Olivia and didn't have anything good to put them in so I had a bright idea to make something :)  My mom is skilled at sewing so I knew she would be able to help me.  If she were not there to help me I would have had no idea what I was doing and probably ended up with two squares sewn together and "tada" that would have been as fancy as it gets.  I have been trying to learn to sew, I would say I am better at crafting than sewing, so I thought I try to make this bag instead of going out and buying one.  I just went and bought some fabric at JoAnn's with my handy coupons and the handle material and my mom had the rest (lining, interfacing, thread, didn't know I needed half that stuff :)  But after a few mishaps, and tearing out the stitches, I think it turned out rather cute!
